Only reason selling is to start a family. Buying wife a new car and I will be driving her Celica. Really hard to get rid of it since it has been very good to me the last 6 years. For a sports car, maintenance work is fairly easy to do, especially with all the resources on the S2K community. In the end, if I can't get a good resale value, I will just end up keeping it.

Sold it recently. Never looked back, do not miss it. Already had 3 cars that are more enjoyable than it.

I briefly contemplated selling it for a 135i, 335i coupe, E46 M3, Evo, or Sti.

Then I said screw it, and bought exhaust, test pipe, front lip, splitter. I will probably keep this car unless I have a major financial related need to sell it.

When I get it paid off, I'm gonna get a bimmer as an option #2 since I often find myself wanting something with similar performance, but with a bigger trunk and 4 seats.

I shuffled around so many different cars as a daily drivers, and fun weekend cars, but none of them gave me the enjoyment of the S2K.

I swore I'd never sell my 01 S2K when I bought it brand new, but I noticed engine problems after 5 years of ownership, so I got scared, and traded it in for an 06 three years ago. I was sad and enjoyed the memories of being one of the first owners when car was rare, and couldn't live without one. No regrets and I love my 06 even more.

Long time S2K owner. Forever S2K owner.

Actually, forever Honda owner, as I'm enjoying my 99 Civic as my daily beater. Car feels unbreakable, and can go 300k miles.

LOVE HONDA!~~~
yes ... honda is unbeatable ..

i have a 95 civic as a daily beater ... it is on 230k and still going strong !!! ..
i thought of buying a S back in 2002, but end up getting the IS300 5-spd .. due to mark up of the S ... (37k OTD that time) ...
but guess what ..
in 2009, i still cannot get over the S ... and i finally bought an 07 S a month ago !!

Dangit. I sold mine about a year ago and kept driving my auto-x CRX Si. I love the rex but my back was hurt from mountinbiking so I bought an '07 GTI to be more of a comfortable, modern car. Well, every time I see an S I get a longing. Now I'm thinking about trading the freaking 2 month old GTI in.

I'm a mild dumbass.
