Who says the Brit mags hate the S2000?
These guys go all gushy over the Mugen mods - it gives the car bags of torque the way they tell it - the orange metallic is cool though.

As an aside, I wouldn't say that the Brits "hate" the S2000, rather, most have formed a love hate relationship with the car, loving the over-engineering Honda put into it, but cursing the same when commenting on the precise handling characteristics which put unaware drivers in the line of disaster.
Most UK-rag editorial I have read on the revised S2000 are full of pomp and praise for the car, despite still having a bias for the hideous Z4.
