it's a dream car for the money, and will look just as good 50 years from now

The S2000's design is very clean. It has an "endless beauty" that will allow it to sit in the showroom years from now with cars from all generations. There are some sports cars out there, that are over extravagant in looks, that 10 years from now it doesn't have that same clean look. This can be observed in early Ferrari's and Lambo models...put them up to new cars in today's market...their old models don't have that endless beauty...they however continue to strike aww in us because of their reputation and the respect it has earned...but it' not as hot as it was. In the contrary here, I believe the S2000 will be hot years down the line.

Look at how Altezza Lights got played out and look cheap now. In my opinion, look at the Viper...this car is ugly...looked cool and aggressive when it came out (I respect the car and it's performance), but stack it up with today's cars...it looks ugly compared to what's on the market now. The S2000's style and lines are still inline with other cars out there and the S2000 is almost 7 years old and still viewed with dropping jaws by other drivers.

I agree^

This car in the AP2 version looks just as good as anything out today in it's class and the Viper is an ugly piece.
Yes a lambo or Ferrari might look better, but hey they are about 6X the price. lol
I'd hope they would have something on the the S.

honestly i think the S is pretty close to perfect looking car. all it needs is rims and a drop and its badass! of course its not ferrari, but it also doesn't cost a whole house either
i agree. i think it looks better than any car short of a $100k+ price tag. well, maybe the elise beats it, but the S wont get outdated...i feel it was designed a little conservatively, but that's good so the design wont look dated 5 - 10 years from now.

having said that...i think the car looks very bland directly from the side, and directly from the front (i think from ground level...can't remember the angle). other than that, i love the design.

just being honest, guys. what pills should i take?

cars i think are good looking: nsx, f430, dbS, gallardo.

the S is not as ugly as that william hung pic, however.
you know we all think those cars are nice looking too. i think the two nicest looking cars are the ferrari f355 and mclaren f1. are you noticing a pattern of the cars that are really really nice looking? they're a bit expensive and in most cases not a car i would want to drive on a daily basis.
i'm not following your logic. i find the pontiac transsport, aztek, toyota echo, honda fit, and other crap cars to be ugly...consequently you won't find me wasting my time on their forums because i find the car ugly. i don't want to bash you but why would you waste your time on this site if you didn't like the car?

The car is extremely conservative in its design, but beautiful at the same time. It's nothing striking or groundbreaking like the amazing Z4 (hate all you want, but it's remarkable and there's nothing like it).

The S2000 will be a classic car, I'm sure of it.
