Who's found a spring spacer?
I changed my rear brake pads last week and there were spacers on both left and right springs.
All those times i've bought new tires no one ever brought them up.
I've had this car since 2005 and it has just over 90K miles.
i remember checking the front when i first saw this thread years ago but those in the back eluded me.
wow. ****. i can't express how embarassed and amazed i am finding them on my car after 5 years of ownership.
this explains A LOT.
FML.
what kind of damage am i looking at here, having driven the car so much with them in?

looking to pick an AP2. checked one out yesterday. 2006 58k. Spacers everywhere and owner was oblivious. Major turn-off. If there was any reputable front end, brake, or tire service, theses should have been gone a while ago.
Just bought my 2002 with 93000 miles. Found one on the front driver side. Sad considering there were service records dating back to the original owner. Dealer serviced and "honda specialist" serviced. It was also inspected by a reputable local shop before purchase and not mentioned

i no longer own an s2k but when i bought my 00 with 32k miles on it, the spacers were still on the rear.
and i worked at a Honda dealership for 4 years, so this doesn't surprise me at all. Laziest idiots i have ever worked with. careless as well

Not only did I find them, I still have them in the garage. Perhaps I should sell them on Craigslist, in a listing in all caps GENUINE S2000 SPRING SPACERS NO SCAMMERS OR TIRE KICKERS DO NOT WASTE MY TIME.
I found a spacer on my 2004 this weekend. I have been driving around with it on since I purchased the car back in November. It was tucked behind the front left spring. It has been on the car for over 10 years and almost 21K miles.
