Damn all the talk about people with the s/c thinking they gonna be the fastest. Wait till I am done with my super turbo charger my car will run 5's on the track !! The only one I can see going anywhere with the supercharger is either Larry from Bodywerks, RandyC or Wes. On the other hand I think CJB will have the fastest s2000 after his project is done !! Just my .02 flame me if you want !!

For any of you guys that are Supercharged and think that you have the potential that Chris does with the turbo set up... you're wrong. I don't see anyone with the Comptech set up putting down 400+ RWHP which I'm sure Chris will be doing before too long.

 

Although I'll let you get away with saying that, I'd challenge anyone that thinks I can't get my car to beat (1/4 mile) the an out of the box Speedcraft kit car, by end of the year - or sooner.

The Paxton SC has limitations as to how much it can physically boost, that's going to be the one thing that makes the TC have more potential, no matter what we do. I don't deny that at all. It's possible to have a SC car running faster than the TC car, yes, but that TC car still has more "potential".

I don't think its so much of a war of TC's vs. SC's - I really think you guys don't really understand what is going on underneath Chris' hood. Maybe in a few months, things will become clear. =)

 

Gotta have some sort of competition or this isn't as fun. Until we see fully build NA engines we gotta have some Joneses to keep up with, and right now it's the TC guys. And, what's the big mystery behind custom pistons to lower the compression so that he can run insane boost? I don't think I'm personally missing anything about what's going on. His car will kill any SC S2000 on gas (read NOS), once it's up and running. No misunderstanding there.

 

BUT ALSO REMEMBER THAT US SC GUYS ARE RUNNING STOCK INTERNALS. IF I CHANGED MY HEAD GASKET AND MADE A 11 POUND PULLEY SEE YOU TC GUYS LATER. BUT JUST LIKE WES SAYS ITS FUN TO HAVE S2000 WARS IT ONLY MAKES US WANT TO GO FASTER IT JUST DEPENDS HOW MUCH MONEY YOU WANT TO SPEND.
