Who's got a shift light?

never thought about it till recently when I over rev'ed a bit after down shifting
so I figure to be safe I'd install a shift light.
any suggestions? Something not too tacky but not so small that you can't even see it blinking.

I'd go with Modifry's upshift indicator. It's an audible unit rather than a visual. The point of it being audible as oppose to visual is so you can keep your eyes on the road/surroundings. It has a series of beeps, 3 to be exact, and then a constant/long beep indicating your shift point. You can customize your shift point at any rpm range.
