Default why?

my fiance and i decided to chip in together to get an s2k , and boy was that a bad mistake....the man does not know how to share! we have to fight for it everyday, and i still lose. why does he encourage me to learn about the car and not let me drive it?! (i'm really not that bad of a driver either!)

does anyone else suffer the same pains?

btw, what do you think about cargo nets? worth it or not?

My fiance drives my S from time to time but I do not share your mans prejudices. She is fine manual driver and shifts tighter than I do most times.

Sorry Just communicate your wants and abilities more clearly and he should give in if he really cares about you. Plus it is half yours right?? Fcuk him if he cant share

hmmmm...my bad...I don't let my wife come near the drivers side because I know for a fact she will carve up my syncros, grind my tranny to nubs.
I feel bad for her...but I'm planning on getting a track car so she'll be able to drive one or the other, preferably the other..just to get her up to speed on the feel for shifting., but in your case he should let you drive equally just for the simple fact that you have equal $'s in the car and combined with the fact that you are a good driver.

Just my 2 cents

Well.... understand that cars are not something you can share 50/50.
Who's name is the car under?
Who takes care of the car (wax, wash, oil change and etc.)?
Do you guys have another car? make a model please.
If it gets that bad... just buy another s2k

Next time you argue with him about the car or whatever simply do what my finacee does. Sit him down, pour him a cup of coffee. Maybe rub his back a little. Tell him how much you love him, respect him and care for his feelings but that he should stop being so stupid and give you what you want.
