ok just to clarify a few things
1.) the man is capable of pouring a cup of coffee for himself
2.) he's not that old that he can't reach the back of his neck to rub it
3.) i do help with the cleaning, and sometimes the maintaining
4.) yes i may have a little bit more fun with the car than i'm supposed to...
5.) and yes we do have another car, a civic si....it's a great car to drive, it's fun it's light, it's sporty, ok so it's not a convertible, and the clutch is slipping a bit but you could overcome that since you sit in traffic most of the day!
thanks for the imput...i'll just give him a good butt whooping tonite and make him understand what sharing really means!

make a copy of the key and take the car out before he wakes up and come back after he goes to work (force him to take the si). 
After that, take a nap, go to work, maybe sneak out to a track and have fun with the car.
