I stand corrected, don't know where I got the 90 pound figure? Honda say's it's 44 pounds.

I doubt u could get 2x 250lb people to fit in an s2k. And if u have then i bet it was pretty uncomfortable.

Keep in mind that the rating includes the contents of the trunk as well. It isn't that hard to get over 60 lb of stuff in the trunk, 40 lb for a hardtop, and then two who average over 200 lb people in the cabin.

Default Load Limit

The maximum load for your car (2001 S200) is 400 lbs (185 kg).

This figure includes the total weight of all occupants, cargo and accessories.

To figure out how much cargo you can carry:
Add up the weight of all occupants.
Subtract the total from 400 lbs (185 kg).

The final number is the total weight of the cargo you can carry.

That’s a valid point, yet for anyone now reading it, the OP was incorrect in the weight limit. Nobody has seen fit to correct this in 8 years.

Check your 2004 again.

400 pounds. 2006 data plate. And the Owners Manual also says 400 pounds (just checked).

Damn, I need to lose 20 lbs. At 6'2" 235, I'm already taking up more than my fair share...lol.
