I think they are just afraid that they paid too much for their rides. They all wish they would have bought Honda S2000's and now regret their decision for buying what they did. If torque is your thing, screw Audi, get an 03 Cobra with 390lb-ft of torque right off tap.

 

Ignorance. They read things and have never driven one. I liked my A4 alot more before the S. Its a necessity for the winter though.
I personally like the comments about how its not a good daily driver.

Alright. I don't personally think "why do <enter-other-marque owners> think the S2000 is <whatever>" threads are a good idea. Why? Because they end up being direct lashings-out against owners of other automobiles.

Not good. If we're going to be a better community than those that have nothing but bad things to say, we've got to realize that things like this draw attention. I don't condone an anti-other brand thread any more than I'd condone one against Honda or the S2000 on this board (which would obviously be less likely to occur, but...).

I won't lock it or anything, but I'll keep an eye on it. Please don't turn this into a flame battle. People buy Audis for different reasons than Honda buyers like the S2000. Virtues differ.

LOL. That's too funny - two Audi owners wondering why people like them (and yet not like them) do and say the things they do. I didn't notice that Jenner is an Audi owner but I knew auDDd is.

 

I wish to recant my previous statement. I do see S2000 bashing on the audi boards, but its not all owners, just a few people. The same can be said for owners of other brands. I like both my cars. I prefer to drive my S2000 now, but its not going to take me snowboarding. None of it really matters anyways.

mind you, i think my S8 is faster than my S2000
