Why do people buy the VAFC1 when the VAFC2 version

I want to get one, I see alot more people with the VAFC1 than the VAFC2, whats the deal? thanks

Biggest difference for S2k users is the tuning resolution. The VAFC1 allows 8 fuel setting points for low and high cam (16 points total). VAFC2 increases to 12 setting points for hi/lo (24 points total).

VAFC2 also adds: i-VTEC support (not needed for us); a mapping lock (password protected) to keep people from messing with your settings (nice to have); new design case/interface.

Of course you can pick up a used VAFC1 for much less money than a VAFC2. You will have to ask your tuner if the extra resolution is worth the extra money.

Not to jack the thread, but can someone tell me what the hell this is?

The last time I checked the apexi website, it wasn't on their product list. (Though, don't bother checking their website right now, it's still in april fools mode)
