When it get's into the 110's+ outside the sun hurts so the top goes up to protect my lily white skin.

I drive w/ my top up about 99% of the time. It's a damn shame too b/c i actually do enjoy the top down cruise but i get paranoid that i'll develop those holes in the softop so i've been only driving with it down very rarely.

I will tell you why I haven't put the top down yet, the car hasn't been started yet.

There are days when I feel top down is needed, going home at 6pm traffic is not one of them.

The experience I've had is that almost everyone with a "modified" car tries to rev up on you which has happened too many times for me. I'll only put the top down at night if its nice out...other than that my top is up to kind of avoid the attention.

Same as the above poster. I'm top up 80% of the time and I live in Dallas. I bought my car for the motor, handling, and chassis. Dropping the top is nice every now and then, but it's not that big of a deal for me overall. If Honda offered a Coupe, I probably would have bought that for the extra chassis rigidity.

It just looks better with top up/hardtop. Form over function.
