I only leave it down if its a quick stop... but most of the time its because I can see my car from where I am at with my SUperman Vision

 

exactly my thoughts

 

I leave it down because I want to. Birds have shit in my car three times already (and all three times I wasn't even under a tree!), causing a permanent stain (fade mark) on the passenger seat, but it's not gonna change anything. Hell, I even park it in the garage with the top down.

Come to think of it, I don't think I've put the top up in the past 4 months. If it's too cold or wet, I'll take something else.

Damn Houston weather is so unpredictable though... Yesterday morning it was 47

 

During the summer months my top only goes up to wash it. At work I throw an interior cover on it and at night it goes in a carport.

 

another reason is because i like being able to make fast "Dukes of Hazzard" style getaways who needs doors when you have a convertable

 

never!!! Someone put dog poops on my seat once and I swear never to put the top down again.

 

that sucks, you never mess with somebodys car, its just ethics. although i couldnt help but laugh when reading that. about 5 years ago, i know of an incident where this 1 guy i knew peed in another guys car whom he couldnt stand. you gotta draw the line somewhere.
