[QUOTE=Elistan,Mar 12 2008, 11:28 PM] I gotta speculate that between the springs, alignment and wheels/tires, your car's setup is basically fubared.

If I'm reading your description correctly, the problem is clearly NOT bumpsteer. No way. Get the car aligned. Get copies of the before and after alignment settings. Odds are you have near zero toe at the rear, or maybe even toe out. Front might also be toed out.

In order to actually feel the cars roll understeer as bump steer, you have to hit a BIG bump, with only ONE rear wheel, so that cannot possibly be what you're feeling (unless I've misread or misunderstood your discription of the problem ).

That's the best advice so far.

I'd try alignment before anything else though. Could also be things like bad bushings, but since alignment is easy and cheap to check and fix, that's the place to start.

u should get an alignment every 15k miles, for all u know ur car has never had one. best place to start cause u can tell if any bushing, joint, arm, or anything else that could be bent or loose on the suspension.

It is most probably alignment and you may have worn ball joints.

Sounds like it could be tire pressure issue, or possible the tires just following he groves in the road.

i think it's just having low profile tires that makes the car act little more sensitive to the road.

FRONT 215/35/18

REARS 245/35/18

i wouldn't ride on 18's with low profile tires.

after I lowered my car, the 80% of the bumpsteer dissappeared.

Does anyone else agree? If its my tires than I'd probably switch to a more meatier tire or maybe even AP2's. I'd like to hope it has nothing to do with low profile tires though since I love how they look on my S.

Heres better pictures of the tires.

Get an alignment..... do your research on S2k specific alignment settings, our car is very sensitive to alignment changes.

Your wheel/spring setup probably isn't helping either since they suspension has so many miles on it.

It's not your low profile tires. I'm running g-Force T/A KDW-2's and have 225/40ZR18 front and 255/35ZR18 rear. I do not have any of these problems. I would do a 4-wheel alignment first.
