Why doesn't the CR have an X brace?

What I dont understand is how the Club Racer doesnt come w/ a roll bar?
I get heat for this but IMO the Club Racer is more of an appearance package. That is; most owners want to appear to be club racing and would never push the car anywhere near it's improved limits. I'd guess tracked CRs, like most S2Ks, are a minority.

Ditto on the tires comment, amazing how little attention is paid to the four little things linking the entire car to the road; the contact patch.

In the year that I've owned the CR, I've had 8 track days. I can guarantee you that it is a lot more than an appearance package. I shaved about 4 seconds from my lap time from my home track. A little bit of it is me becoming a better driver, but a lot of it is the car.

I'm sure many people bought the car for looks. But there are a lot of us who didn't and I think it's a pretty high ratio.

The CR is a half-assed attempt at a track car by Honda. We should have gotten the Type S.
What differences were there in the type S?

I dont think an X brace or any type of bracing is really necessary. Sure, you could add them, but will it give you any noticeable difference? probably all in your head. Look at how the car is designed, the front is a giant rounded tub, How a small bar could make any difference is beyond me.
