You won't even get an answer by asking these questions which have been repeated over and over. Also guys stop arguing already lol. Isn't it clear that you don't tell Honda what to do? Adding a turbocharger to S2000? No it won't happen simply because of the cost.

Anyways like someone already mentioned, if you were looking for hp, then you found a wrong car. S2000 is a car which if you drive for a long time, you might be unhappy due to little upgrades, but also a car that makes you regret after you sell the S2000 to go for another car with a bigger hp. (Some exceptions of course, like Elise)

I just think many of long time S2000 drivers struggle to move onto another car because they are so attached to the agility of S2000, not its horsepower .

Obviously there's still people out there who feel the S2000 is powerful enough - that's why Honda still sells over ten thousand a year. Its a great car, but a little engine development would be nice.

Oh wellz ... unfortauntely that population is shrinking dramatically every year exponentially. Do I wish the S2000 would come with more power? OF COURSE! Will that deteriorate me from purchasing one? HELL NO!

iVTEC is a proven way to add power. 100% certain you would see 10 lbs of torque across much of 3k to 6k RPM (where the peaks exist now you would see a little less) and few lbs above 6k. It's not rocket science... very simple technology.
Okie, Mr. Rocket Science, why don't you back that up with facts.

The reason why I bought my S2000 is because I love Honda's high-revving all motor 4 bangers, but didn't want another FWD car. I don't think the car stock needs anymore power, if you want more power, mod it. Just my opinion.

People crash this car all the time with just 237hp, imagine how much more INS would spike, due to increase crash rates, with another 50hp
