I asked the guy to give me his best pitch, and he replied, "Do you really like green? If you're not concerned about depreciation then this is the car for you -otherwise wait until we have another color."
He could not even muster the strength to sell me a car that ugly. I think they finally got rid of it via dealer trade.

My guess is that it comes down to what sell's where. Honda (and other car companies) spend millions on market analysis. Some where along the line they figued out the American public didn't really go for the orange and green.(maybe they just didn't ask any of us) I would think that if Honda knew they could sell a large number of those colors here, they most certianly would.
