Why no intermittent wipers?
Maybe this is stupid question of the day but why did honda not include this option for the s2k thats in 99% of all other cars on the market? I thought it was odd my wifes mini didn't have them when she bought it, is it just a convertible thing? Are they easy enough to swap from an accord or something?

Oh, Its a honda thing, My mom's 04 civic doesn't have it either, I think they were at that time reserving that feature for their Acura cars because my last car (03 RSX-S) had variable speed
What's really weird is my old '02 Si, which is the top-of-the-line Civic model, DIDN'T have variable intermittent wipers even though my friend's EX model of the same vintage did. Don't know what Honda was thinking there...
Also, my father's old '98 EX V6 Accord sedan had the variable wipers. So, it's definitely not reserved only for Acuras but maybe only reserved for (some) of the higher trim models back then.

My 1991 Accord had variable speed, my 2001 Prelude had variable speed.

I posted the same thread in the "tell honda" section a while back. I got the same responses. Either i was lazy or some other smart ass response.
Guess the rest of the car makers are just light years ahead with a variable speed setting on their lines.

Meh -- this sort of list could go on and on... Are these features really dealbreakers for you?
