Why no intermittent wipers?

I'm not sure why but they opted not to give it to us. I wonder with the nav package has the same wipers? Get my line of thinking.

It's a basic car, with a killer motor/soft top/tight suspension. That's about all I bought it for. The fact it has a trunk means I can use it to got the beach or overnight camping.

The fact it has a passengers seat means my wife gets to come along for the ride.

Intermittent wipers pause between wipes. Like wipe... nothing.... wipe... Nearly every car made in the last gazillion years has these.

Variable speed intermittents allow you to control how long that pause is using a dial in addition to the regular speed-of-wiping control. Only some cars have this ability to fine-tune the intermittent setting, and it's nice for getting the right wiper balance in light rain.
