Is Silver the most popular colour? I wanted either a
Silver/Red or a Red/Black S2k and finally went for
the Red, since then (about 2 weeks) I have seen 4
S2000s and all of them are silver.

Even the test drive car was silver!

 

I've got a Silver/Red and just my preference I think they look the best, but I did see a beefed up (all the spoilers and trims) red beast and a pang of jealously hit me.

 

Silver/red is definately the no.1 hit with the buyers. This was my first choice but after evaluating the colour grey/silver with the black hood and bright red leather interior, I decided that the colour combination did not look right.

If you examine any sports car the red leather normally is not this bright. Also the black hood does not blend smoothly with the silver body.

When the hood is down it looks great. When the hood is up ?
Anyway I ended up getting black with red interior which I would purchase any day over the other colours.

Red/black was not on my list because I needed red leather seats. The red interior glows when the hood is down!

The blue/black ? In my opinion the blue looks pretty much standard.

Black and red looks great, but my last car was black and was a nightmare to keep prestine

I was a little miffed that you could not get the Red with a Red interior. The very first S2k I saw had this combination but, as I understand the customer had it done specially.

A shame because it looked great IMO.
