Why is it so hard to find a GPW S2K?

GPW- Just another nice color. Personally, I would NOT pay a premium for any color. I would buy the cleanest low milage S2000 that I could find for sale at a reasonable price.
Be honest now, doesn't this stratagy make much more sense?
NOPE! I did that and still wasn't happy until my 07 GPW

Took me 3 or 4 months to find mine, but I knew I wanted an '07 because of the color combo. I almost gave up the search but then found one locally and jumped on it!
same.

i was actually looking for a used 01 back in 07 b/c of the color combo and cheaper... but when i saw a brand new 07 in the local dealers i just jumped on it and never looked back.

my first and last brand new car for me

The best part is I get to be surrounded by this love nest all day:

at first I thought the 06 all black interior was the best, but the 07 interiors are pretty darn nice.

I'd love the 07 interior if it had black carpet and floor mats though

I'm not a fan of the red carpet but it seems honda wants red carpet anytime they do a 2-tone interior:

My 05 Silverstone had the stock red/black and I left it stock:

here's my stock 09 gpw interior:

If "reasonable price" means ending up with silver or yellow, no thanks. Those are discount colors.....
LOL "Discount colors" hmmm I love Rio, it's my top two colors:

GPW and RIO (50/50)

With GPW, you snooze you lose - I made a deal on my 09 GPW over the phone and flew down to seal the deal cuz late model 08/09 GPW's are nearly non-existent and to find one in mint condition is rare to say the least

here's a fun pic from one of our bay area s2ki Fish/Chip events, a sea of GPW's in a joint meet between nsxprime s2ki

Rare to see x3 GPW NSX's in one place that's for sure + 100+ s2000's

Funny that all of the sudden white is the "in" color to have. I remember when whites would be sitting on dealers lots back in 04. Personally, it is my least favorite color of the s2000. But, its still an S2000, so I would take it
