Why is it so hard to find a GPW S2K?
Let's just say I was SO CLOSE to becoming a GPW owner this week.
I postponed buying a 2003 GPW w/ 45k miles at a local Honda dealer--super clean exterior and interior, one owner, and drove beautifully--they were asking $14k, but I think with some negotiating it would have ended up in the $12-13k range.
Looks like some smartass went in during the rainstorm we got here and beat me it...
Oh well

Ignorance is bliss. Went with the best deal for the $. Ended up with an NFR. I'd happily trade for a different color if it were $100 cheaper, no joke. Exceptions:
* White and Black has to be at least $300 cheaper as I think they're harder to keep clean.
* Yellow has to be $1000 cheaper, too flashy for my position and character.
* I'd be willing to pay $300 extra for a Chicane. I love how the darker metallic color brings out the curves of the body.
To each his own, I guess.

Ive looked on Craigslist, Auto Trader, and Ebay Motors, but for some reason its extremely hard to find a GPW S2K. Why is that?

I feel inadequate with one GPW
