funny that you got your car on feb 22.. thats the day i crashed my girls dads (dont know if you saw my thread about that or not) So i guess feb22 is a good day for you... while a rather HORRIBLE memory that will be with me for the rest of my life... although it could have been worse, it just sucks.

I did read your thread and saw the pix, what a horrible experience. It will be a long road, but unfortunately our lives are full of lessons learned, and sometimes a stroke or two of bad luck. Hopefully my new S will lead a long and full life!

As I mentioned in your thread, my son (who's 16) has wanted to drive the S for a long time (we've had a red for about 1-1/2 years now), but we have not let him. Not because he's not a good driver or responsible, but how horrible he would feel (and we would feel) if this car got wrecked - not to mention anyone else that might be involved. So, for now, it's still the trusty old Accord for him.

Just refilled my car for the first time and calculated my mileage - 20.5 MPG. That seems a bit low for no VTEC, but I'm guessing that the break-in period is more of a gas hog. Our '00 was getting about 23 MPG under non-VTEC conditions.

Just passed 600 miles and have great news to report: VTEC works!!

Also just refilled my tank again, and got 23 MPG this time. Much better. Next one will undoubtedly be lower due to VTEC ...

time to play!!!

This thread is such a waste; nobody is even writing back.

Pathetic, if you ask me.
