I actually had the same thing happen to me. This one day I was comming home and I was driving my car pretty hard. I shifted at redline on every gear. Anyway, I got off the freeway and headed up a couple blocks until I reached the part where it contained a sharp right turn that lead to my street. I thought it would be fun if I just gunned it around that corner like I always do and so I did. Went around that corner going 85 and I felt some weird vibration that I never felt before. I try to focus my attention on the car but there were no noise, just vibration. And then I realized, I farted.
Thanks for the help

Some people have posted similar descriptions of CV joints going bad. I remember someone describing it getting to the point that it felt like his wheels were square while accelerating.

Check your tire pressure. . .especially the front tires. I have found that the "S" is very sensitive to tire pressure. Check cold and set at 34 PSI front and rear.
Manual says 32 there chief.

That's a good starting point. I'm running 35 psi front and rear with my current tires. I adjust the tire pressure to give me the performance and wear characteristics that I'm looking for.

Yes, I agree that it is merely a starting point for your preferences.

With that mileage on an '00 you may just have pitted axle hubs. You can simply pop em off the diff and switch sides. Search through under the hood there are some discussions about it.

It can also very easily be diff, psi, or alignment related.

I had the shakes but somehow, they've kinda disappeared lately. Weird.

Vibration under acceleration is consistent with pitted CV joints, specifically the pots. There were a few cases of this in the 00-02 and may well be more in the 03+ as they get older. Have a read: https://www.s2ki.com/stor/library/TSB/A02-063/index.htm
