I swapped out to CR sway bars and shocks and love it on my AP1. I chose the CR because it was designed as a matched system for this car so I recommend keeping all of the components matched. I did not want adjustable because I would probably adjust it poorly instead of improving the handling.

The street is OK except for the occasional pot hole that loosens your fillings but on the track I can tell a big difference.

Thread resurection but didnt want to start another "CR setup" topic.

Sidriver would you mind reviewing your CR setup on your 03 (i am thinking of following the same path in the near future thus in need of some info).

What have you decided after all this time? Did you go for the 00-01 sway bars or not?

How does the car handles afterall. Understeer pron, as imagined or neutral?

Any track visits since you changed the setup? Can you talk with '' you have gained there?

(hope you still have the car and will be willing to asnwer )

If anyone else has some info to share, please do (if Sidriver doesnt want to hijack his thread then link me your answer someplace else).

Thanks in advance,
Nabu

Yo...

Had the CR coilovers and the CR bars installed on my AP1 for a few months now. I haven't gone to the track, but I drive this car everyday. The understeer is not what I had imagined. If anything the AP1s were too oversteery. You can still kick the tail out at will but the overall feeling is increased stability with a less tendency for the back end to come around unpredictably. You can gas out earlier out of a turn. The body roll has lessened. The CR coilovers are no doubt noticeably stiffer in daily driving, but not a night and day difference with the AP1 coilovers.

If you don't mind the stock OEM height, want a little more stiffness with better cornering stability, and don't want to mess around with settings, then you can't do better than this.

Great review

All that i wanted to read is in there and especially the last sentence pretty much concludes all that a potential CR susp/sways buyer would like to hear/know.

Did you notice an increase in tire gap in the front of the car with the CR suspension?

Yep, the front sits just a tad higher than my stock 03. The rear seems a tad lower though. Don't know if this was the intent of Honda but it seems like this rake would provide more stability in key situations as slightly more weight would be on the rear wheels. Looks-wise, I prefer the rake with the front lower, but whatever, it isn't a deal breaker.

It really isn't that much different and someone could easily mistake you for having a stock base suspension.
