Default Will Sparco Sprints fit in my car??

My buddy is selling a set of Sparco Sprints for $400. First question is : Is that a good deal?
Second question is: If it is a good deal, will those seats fit or work in my car? Thanks for any and all help!

test fit them. You`ll also need a base n adaptor. Do they have rails?

I have a Sparco Roadster seat in my S2000 - it is mounted with side rails, drilled through the floor and a custom base, non adjustable. This is the only way that it will work, and it makes sure that I'm the only driver in the car as well. The Sprints are deeper, hold you in much further and have the side point holes - its great for holding you down so the belts dont crop up on your torso.

As for these seats - you will have to get bottom mounts, and Sparco does not have any available for the S2000 yet - they are about a month out for bottom mount rails. The Sprint does not have side mounts, so this is not an option. You will not get a lower seating position on this seat. Also, this seat is 53" wide on "B" http://www.sparcousa.com/seatchart.pdf - and the Roadster is 52" wide. If the Roadster was only one inch wider, then it would not work. Thus, I really do not see these as much of an option for you.

$400 is a great deal, but do you really need it?

Schatten~

You seem very knowledgeable regarding Sparco seats. There is a set of Evo's on sale in my local area do you know if they will fit our cars. And what is your take on this seat.

Thank you in advance

Evo II will definately not fit. The Evo...well, it *might*. I sat in one, it holds you a little tighter, especially in the shoulders than the Roadster does, and it also has four point holes instead of just the two shoulder holes in the Roadster.

Go over to the place, take your seat out - just bring a 12mm and 14mm sockets and a ratchet over and see if it works. I really dont think it will but please let me know if it does.
