The "Wind Screen" is the big glass thing that sits in front of the driver and passenger, it keeps the wind out of the face of the driver and passenger. This is also called the "Wind Shield" in America. The little foldable plastic thing that sits between the driver and the passenger is called an "Aero Screen" and it keeps the air turbulance from entering the passenger compartment from the back.

Notice how the letters 'S2000' are bright white?

Btw... Where can you look for one of those light up aero screens? ;p

Ricks Aero Screen significantly reduces turbulence with the windows up. I had the full size Aero Screen until I was in a hurry before getting on the freeway and put the top down while the aero screen was down. Broke the thing in half. Damn operator error!! Anyways, I haven't reinstalled the OEM aero screen because the difference between it and not having one seems to be minimal to me.

Does anyone make the large black mesh type ones that you see on SLK's and Z3/Z4's for the S2000? I like the idea of having one that covered the whole rear and I think it adds some visual dynamics to the shape of the car with the top down.

I hope someone makes one or we can retrofit....

The OEM Aero screen is a P.O.S.!!!! It's freaking useless. It used to be an option on the original S but later came standard cause they realized it served no purpose but as a cosmetic filler.

To spend more money on a larger one IMHO is not worth the hassle or the money unless your going to block out everything from the rear like with a mesh screen to include the seat back portals. Otherwise it's just a larger P.O.S. that is only good for sticking aftermarket decals on or personalizing by making it light up. Which I've seen in person and looks

Oh yeah.........drive safe....

I've got a "Hot Version" vcd where they test the effects of the wind-screen, and it apparently does make a difference, from what I saw anyway. Personally, it doesn't make much of a difference to me, although I can feel less wind being let into the cabin, sort of...

Me Tooooo! McGuiver's with Rick's 7/8ths screen. Also have some additional lettering, besides S2000. I love it. It gets "LOTS OF SECOND" looks. Usually keep it set on Blue. Red on the break over-ride.
