Window Motor Bad

I think my window motor went bad, the window will go down fine, but going back up it makes very bad grinding and cracking noises, any ideas i think it might be the regulator/motor

the window might have just come off the track...
this just happened to our land cruiser...
took the door panel off...
pop it back in place...
done...

or

it could be your window motor crapped out....
