Default Window question

Have had no problems with my MY02 with about 6,000 mi now. However, I recently noticed that the drivers side window does not go down all the way when lowering the top. I am sure it used to... Anyone else ever had this problem?

yes this is a common problem. The dealer should fix it.

It is indeed a common problem. You will notice that the auto-down function does not work properly, either. The motor/regulator needs to be replaced. I've had to have mine done twice now.

mschloss,

There is a Technical Service Bulletin from American Honda out for that problem. Your local Honda dealership can fix it.

My '02 did the same thing about a month after I got it. Before I got around to taking it in, it fixed itself! I have since noted that some others on this board have also experienced this "self-healing."

So, you might want to give it a few days before you take it in.

Ugh, you know- there was a lot I needed to get fixed before my warranty ran out. I also meant to renew it... I doubt the dealer will do the TSB for me now that its past warranty.
