Default Window replacemnt

I was just curious if any one has replaced their OEM glass with light wieght plexiglass or any other lighter material... I know the inherent risks of using this type of glass but I just wanted to know if any one had used it for street or racing applications. Weight difference and associated costs would also be good to know
Thanks

Weight difference is extremely minimal, and plexiglass will scratch more easier. It will also eventually fade when exposed to sunlight for a very long time. For street, its a waste of money and you lose the defroster option too.

And if someone was going to use their S2K for serious racing applications, I think most would get a hardtop anyways with a rollcage.

I think plexiglass windshield and side windows are illegal for a street application.
