Default Window seal rip?

Look at the pic, this is the driver's side. Passenger side has the same rip. When the window comes up, it rips into it more and more. Anyone else have this and what did you do about it?

i'm sure it will rip again anyway, oh well.

Yep, I have the same thing on my 03, driver's side door. Didn't know they'll replace this under warranty. Thanks for the info.

even if they replace it, the rubber is so thin it will rip again guaranteed. doesn't seem like a big problem tho, so whatevers.

Only suggestions I can come up with for prevention are leaving the window up a 1/4 inch and/or shin-etsu the window edge.

Got one on driver side, didn't have it on my '03, though.
