Window sticker says Suzuka
The window sticker on my 04 S2000 GPW says it was built in Suzuka, Japan. Questions :
1) I heard somewhere the S2000's were built in Motegi ( spelling ? ). Am I wrong and they are assembled in Suzuka ?
2) I also read the S2000 and NSX are built at the same plant. Is this true ?
3) If question # 2 is correct what else do they build at the plant ?
The above questions are just curiosity. I love my car regardless of wherever it was built.

S2000s were built in Motegi, then they moved production to Suzuka (I didn't know when, but based on your information, I guess around 2003/2004).
I have no idea if NSX production was moved too, but it was in the same plant/production line before, yes.
They built Insights in the Motegi plant too. Again, I have no idea if that's still the case now.

According to Honda web site in Japan,
http://www.honda.co.jp/sportscar/spi...uka/index.html
NSX, S2000, and Insight were transferred from Takanezawa city in Tochigi prefecture to Suzuka city in Mie prefecture.
Suzuka has a big Honda auto producation base for Japan domestic market including engine plant. More than 2000 cars including Civic and Integra produced daily.
The transfer activities started in May 2004.
Production for S2000 started on June 1st, NSX on July 1st, and Insight on Sep. 27th.
The new production line in Suzuka is named "TD line".
"T" stands for Takumi(Craftmanship), Takanezawa, and Second Plant(Two).
"D" stands for Dream.
I wonder what is your vehicle ID(7th digit from the last).
Mine is "T" for Tochigi. Maybe "S"?
