Default Window switch?

I've got a nitrous kit on the way and I hear a ton of people talking about Window switches. I was looking for some feed back as to how people are using a Window switch with nitrous, or how people have seen it used on the S.

My guess would be that you would want to control the RPM range that you spray. Any recommendations... other than "don't spray"

How good are you at replacing head gaskets? How good do you WANT to be at replacing head gaskets? 11.0:1 compression ratio does NOT make for good NO2 applications.

A window switch would limit what RPM ranges the NO2 would be able to spray at. One option would be to spray BEFORE VTEC to enhance that "low-end torque" deal. Of course that would do nothing for top-end and it's probably easier to just downshift when you want to get into VTEC.

The other option would be to go for a high RPM range. For the sake of your driveline I would suggest you not engage the NO2 before 7000RPM just to make sure you are in VTEC. (If you get REAL fancy you could wire up a cut-off switch to the VTEC to make sure you are in VTEC before you engage it.)

If I were you and you REALLY want NO2, then get a progressive controller for it.
