Seems like odd reasoning. So since my Boxster drops the windows, lowers the top and raises the windows I should always drive it windows up but drive my S2000 always windows down?

+1. Depends on wind, temp, noise, mood, whether the other half in the car and wants the windows up, etc. Generally windows down though.

I tried that once and while it worked good for the most part the cold air was accelerated around the window and blew on my left shoulder. It was freezing!

Windows always down when the top is down. It just looks dorky on this car to have top down, windows up. If it's cold, I just crank up the heat more or dress appropriately for the weather .

I sit tall. Eye level is top of windows (rolled up). Lots of wind up there. So on highway, its windows up else the hat blows off my head.

Plus I'm top down unless its less than 30 degrees or actively raining. And my commute is 80 miles highway daily.

So I make no apolgies about going windows up.
