Windows up or down when the top's down?
Down most of the time. Up when it's under 40 degrees or over 104 degrees. The black interior and the sun in the summer here are unbearable sometimes. I usually keep the top down, but have to roll the windows up so I can feel the air conditioner.
wow most people have them down huh? Well, at least there is one person (me) that keepz it up. Itz all about the aerodynamics. I race but like to have cool air on my hair. I keep the windows up so the car has less wind resistance. If not for racing purposes, to save gas. If you keep em down, the car will have the natural weight of the car and the wind resistance to pull and you'll find yourself pushing the gas pedal slightly higher most of the time.
DOWN!
I feel a dramatic increase in the breeze blowing from the back of the car up into the cockpit when the windows are up and the top is down. I keep a couple of coats and hats in the car for various temperatures and I just dress accordingly. That is after all how my Dad taught me to drive the '57 MGA, top down and the side curtains in the trunk!
