Windscreen Saftey Switch
I took an initial look at how best to install a saftey switch and wanted to know if anyone has actually done it yet.
My concern is that the only proposal I have read about so far uses the emer. brake wire. Since this wire is also probably the one that initiates the brake light on the dash, I think that adding a switch to the line will confuse the dash (either light on when brake is off or the other way around).
In addition I think that the best switch to use would be a push button on the front side under the screen. When the screen is up the button would be pushed down. It would raise when the screen is lowered. The switch would be "normally open/off" with a "momentary closed/on".
Thanks,
Jim
