Has anyone painted the black windshield side? If so, how much work was involved?

 

Are you talking about the black edge around the windshield (top and sides)? This is tape. If you look at the FAQ it tells you how to peel it off. Then it's the same color as the rest of the car. Sometimes though, this paint is scratched.
