i notice some of u have this taken off, and it looks really nice. my ? is, does honda corp. knows anything about this tape? i noticed on the brochure and alot of pics i've seen still have them on. even on the japanese website.

 

It's only for cosmetic reasons...hence, the black cars don't have any tape. Beware...I removed mine, and had lots of scratches underneath, and the only solution was to get it repainted, and the dealership does not cover it...so it's at your own risk. However, I believe I'm the only one who had significant damage underneath the tape.
