Default Windshield Tape on LBP

Has anyone with a Laguna Blue Pearl removed their windshield tape? If so, can you post a pic? I'm considering doing this, but am not sure what it will look like. It looks great with a hardtop -- but I don't have a hardtop -- and some colors look better keeping the tape on.

Just do it. Our cars look so much better with the tape taken off, with or without a hard top.

I'm pretty sure that was only with the earlier models having thinner painted areas. All of the people I know that have removed the tape haven't had any problems, even the older ones. I would almost guarantee the newer ones wouldn't have any problems.

Take it off!! Mine was taken off before I bought mine. There are a few spots that have small scratches, nothing major. You can't see the scratches from a distance.

How about paying for the paint job I had to have done by a local body shop due to the tremendous missing/sanded paint on my '05?
