Any photos of a New Formula Red with the tape removed?

I really like how the cars look in the previous photos.

This may be an ignorant comment..... I did not know that the frame around the windshield that is black was tape. Also I did not know that there was paint under it!!. Am I understanding this correctly?

yeah underneath the black tape it is colormatched to your car... red car has red paint... etc... if your car is black tho lol its kinda pointless

Clear coat and everything. My paint was flawless under the tape but some people have had a lot of scratches or rough spots. Is this something done on every S2000? Maybe they put the black tape on exported cars only, just to provide another differentiation between JDM and other markets. I haven't paid attention to the windshield tape in any pics of JDM S2000s, just something that popped into my head. Anyone know for sure?

In any pics I've seen of JDM S's there is no tape. I think it's just one of those things like the difference between JDM and USDM headlights and side markers.

Funny thing about black ones...
The black ones I have seen have no tape. I am still clueless about why they went to all this trouble for a certain few cars.
