Be very careful with a blow dryer. You run the risk of heating up the rubber stripping and ruining it.
Good point

Well, my parking lot doesn't have sockets. So I'm just waiting to leave the car out in the sun. Can't wait to peel that tape out! The time when the soft top is up is usually when:

- it's raining outside
- dark at night driving in quiet areas
- car's parked

In all those cases, it doesn't matter whether the windshield frame's color matches the soft top, since either no one (including myself) would see that or no one would care.

Why is it that Honda decided to make the windows frame black?

The felt the people who live in the Americas have nothing better to do. So they slapped on the tape just for S2000s that are sold in the Americas ...

If I can ever afford a HT, I will remove the tape. Until then-its staying put. I just don't like the look with the soft top.

When I bought mine, the dealer offered to remove the tape for me, so I've never even seen my car with the tape. :)

OMG.. removed mine.. looks GREAT.... no residue at all.. looks great.

I've concluded that the windshield tape removal was a step left out of the american version of the shipping check list...
I mean really... doesn't that make sense.. they'd stick that stuff on there to protect one extra piece through shipping? and they forgot to tell the dealers in america about it...
that's my theory and I'm sticking to it...

GOD this looks great.... good idea
