this thread is a waste of webspace, LOL

I guarantee this is the last time that guy asks a question. He was quickly confronted by two "cream of the crop" personalities, Steve C and AusS2000.

If it's the last time he asks a question like that then my job is done!

Seriously, I feel like a bit of an ass for my response, but then how many questions do we get like "Tell me what opinion I should have?", and "Can someone do all the hard searching for me as I'm just too precious?". And I can't help noticing the correlation between inane questions and lazy writing.

Mr.buttercup - My apologies for my brusqueness. If you stick around you'll find that I happily answer any questions that I have knowledge about and that are of an objective nature. Just keep in mind that this site has been here for 4 years and much ground has already been trod. A simple search will yield amazing results.

Notice that both SteveC and I have been reading these questions for over 3 years. All the defenders are less than 1 year. We'll see if you're so amenable after your 10,000th inane question.

Maybe a 'Newby Lobby' forum isn't such a bad idea. And perhaps a place were old-timers like Steve and I can be put out to stud and tell old war stories.

This is the guy's first day on this forum.......and I didnt know that seniority warranted being condescending towards someone new.

There is no allusion to 'seniority'. It's simply another correlation. I bet pounds to pennies in 3 years you'll either be long gone or just as frustrated by inane posts.
