have to, its my only car. I will be a top down man a lot as I am crazy and I dont get cold very easily. Lots of Zaino to protect the paint and I should be all set. The one thing I dont like is the temperature of the roads, less grip, that bothers me more than the aor temperature.

snow and ice on the roads bother me but slow and steady with the snowshoes and it is okay.

Just curious about how the soft top hold up in winter with all that ice and snow. I feel sorry for the car when I see the top covered with snow and ice

i voted yes, but in houston area, where everyone freaks out (including me) when it goes below 30F, where it rarely drops below 50F, there's really not a problem of winter driving.

but right now, where it's rained (here in college station) on/off since the friday before last (10 days!), i'm trying not to drive as much. i guess it's kinda the same with ice/snow... only more so.

Living near the shores of Lake Erie, I found that there are plenty of good days to exercise my baby. Sometimes I even drop the top. She doesn't see wet roads though.

Really cold days are spent in the CL Type S and the rain and snow in covered by the CR-V.

Im still trying to talk myself into buying a winter car, only prob is that i have about a 1k budget for one, maybe more but would prefer not to. I think if i buy a 1k winter car, it may turn into a money pit, I am banking on the winter here (NW Ohio) will be like last years, and maybe only get 2-3 "real" snow falls, car is garaged anyway, and if need be I can garage it at work. If weather gets real nasty, i guess i could "borrow" one of the work trucks to get around. Anyone agree with me? Or should I put out the cash for a winter beater?

My car's a daily and I'm looking forward to winter driving with the top down. Hey, it's California and unless you're in the Sierra's, snow is not gonna touch my S. I thought about buying a hardtop for the winter, but we have a mild winter over here. I can't imagine it for you guys in the midwest or the east coast with all that snow. Brrrr! But then, we've gotta worry about earthquakes over here...
