Winter Storage
^^ so how often would it be recommended to start it so as to not let the oil settle too long? i figured if it was started every 10-14 days, and ran for at least an hour each time, that shouldn't do much damage. i'm still debating on jack stands, but would like to get info on a battery tender if anyone knows the link.
what issues are there with removing the battery for a long period of time? what has to be reset?

As discussed in other threads, I avoid starting mine until I'm going to drive it.
The transmission doesn't get any lubrication unless the car is moving. Also, a lot of the galleries are drained out if the car has been sitting a long time - why do a "high wear" start repeatedly?
Mine's going to bed next week. We're having freezing rain up here in MN tonight.
