winter storage preparation
God, that checklist could take DAYS to complete. IT'S JUST A DAMNED CAR, PEOPLE!!!
Change the oil, fill up the tank with gas, disconnect the battery, and park it.
All that other stuff is quite unnecessary. As soon as rubber components warm back up, they'll regain their original shape (including tires, after about 3-10 miles on the highway).

If I could drive my S all year, I would. I barely drive it even on dry days. I guess having kids and an S do not really go together but I love my S even if she is a garage queen. At least, I see her when I get in the MDX everyday. She makes me smile in the morning.
I agree with XVIPER. Drive it year round! I had a 99 Lude with an extra set of Blizzaks...that was my 3rd car in the garage. I came to my senses and sold it. Got some Blizzaks for the S and used the $$ from Lude sale for a new bathroom addition on the house.

For the fellow who lives in Calgary, could you let us know (I'm from Winnipeg and considering an s2000 but figured I needed a winter car) what size of rims fit for winter (anything less than 16?) and if all the Winter s2000 drivers have hard tops?
thanks

thanks for the info. where and how much did you pay for your winter tire setup? i'll try and find the forum you metioned. (I'm extremely new to this forum; registered today) I'm also considering getting a rsx -s type instead of an s2000 as a all season compromise. Do you like your s2000 in winter? Are the fellows with no hard tops having trouble with snow accumulation on the roofs? I have no idea what the problems would be with a convertible....
thanks
m.braun.
p.s. what's the proceedure to just email directly?
