The wipers can wipe at any speed of your choosing. As you drive, simply flick the stalk upward for one sweep of the windshield or hold up for any number of wipes; totally at your discretion.

Find the relay and put a piece of rubber hose over it and it will kill the click sound.

Use lots of Rain-X, drive briskly, and you'll never have to use the wipers. (However, I do have that clicking noise!)

Thats not the relay noise. I had the noise when I first got the car. I noticed the wiper blade on the driver side was hitting on the windshield frame because it was positioned a bit off to the passenger side. It was the "flexing" noise of the blade. Then I adjusted it and the noice disappered..

Yeah, Rain-X is basically the coolest thing ever! If it weren't for bugs in the summer, windshield wipers would have no purpose.

That clicking relay, however... WTF were they thinking!!!!

I think the noise is pretty aggravating. They should be able to put a silent delay switch in there.

My Miata had this "clicking noise" with the intermitent wipers. Very annoying. Hell, even the civic has plenty of wiper choices, howcome the s2000 only has 1 (one that clicks).

That clicking is pretty annoying, can be so easily stopped too.

Traded my MY'00 for the MY'02. No more clicking wiper relays!
