While reading through this thread, some people argue against using seat locks. Their argument is that the thief will slash your top to get in the car, be foiled by the seat locks and then trash the interior of the car. Has this ever happened or is it pure speculation? If you don't have seat locks couldn't the thief steal your seats and then trash the interior anyway?

I was thinking about seat locks, but they seem a bit too pricey. If you're feeling cheap like me, just get 4 different screw heads...one alan key, one square head..etc (make sure they're the same size), loctite them, and screw em' in!
