Default Wonderful S2000 Book

For Honda and S2000 lovers, I haven't seen a better book. From the history of the Honda Co., to the inner workings of the best roadster in the world, this book covers it all.
"Honda S2000" by Daniel F. Carney is available at [link]www.motorbooks.com[/link]
I am in no way associated with that website or the publishing company.
It's just an excellent book for the folks on this board.

It is about $7.00 less expensive on Amazon.com!

I guess you folks didn't know about the book, but if you do a search on "Carney" you'll see the book has already been talked about (at last count) 106 times.

I bought mine through a R & T ad for $20. Hopefully they're not marking it up too much on that website.

Why do you say the pics are fake? You can look up the S2000 under insurance records, and it shows tests were done by IIHS AND NHTSA. My fiancee's parents own their own claims adjustment company. It's right there in their book.

If those are real, that's good to hear. But why do car magazines still say the "Honda S2000 has not been crash tested yet"?

It's odd because different mags say different things. I know the S2000 has been tested according to NADA or whatever the hell the insurance book thingy is called. I've seen the lookup on it. Tested by IIHS as well as NHTSA.

And I thought I saw consumer reports also say it was tested? Some mags say yes, some say no. Not sure why there is a discrepancy....???

Thanks for bringing this up, Charly. I had never heard of the author nor the book, so I appreciate the information. I'm gonna buy it. (From Amazon, tho)
