Got my yellow s2k today.....Anything I should know as to when i should get first engine oil change and when I can start using VTEC????? THANKS!!!!

Don't exceed 5500 rpm's for 600 miles. It's tough but you can do it!

 

Don't change oil till you pass 4,000 miles! From there just keep an eye on the oil level till then.(weekly/biweekly)

 

Congratulations. The thrill is never gone, I'm happy to say.

Also, in this cold weather here in MD, don't push the rpms, gearbox, or anything else until the components are warmed up -- three bars on the temperature gauge and a least a few miles or more on the road.

Where did you get your s2k from? I looked at O'Donnell about a month ago and they marked it up 3k over MSRP and had a bunch of dealer installed options.

Did you get yours from Odonnel Honda? I live In Towson and am impatiently waiting for my delivery in April. We'll have to meet up in late spring/early summer.

 

Never get rowdy before three bars on the temp gauge.

 

I recall Vaportrail, (John) and obviously Sondra is still around. What I was refering to however was a family in wich each of THREE siblings had their own S2000. So one more than in Sondra's case

 

I was going to Jim Coleman honda because they had one coming in and they were selling it for MSRP.....however I called O'Donnell Honda again(first time I called they marked it up like 3K) and asked if they were selling it for same price and they said they will give it to me for MSRP so I got it from them and they already had one in stock. I love this car!!!!!!!
