Default The world's smallest pickup, or things I hauled

So I needed new rear tires, which I ordered from Tire Rack.

Got the call they were in to my installer, but wife was at work with the Jetta. What to do? Slap on the winter wheels

(oh noes, impact wrench!!)

And throw one wheel in the trunk.

(remove toolkit from trunkwell)

That leaves the other one. Hmm....

No wonder these things are so easy to steal...

(that's a new tire, forgot to take a pic of the old one)

And then, while I was out, figured, hmmm, might as well pick up the lumber I needed (80 2x2x36)

Been a productive weekend.

Even better solution: in the spring I'm buying an SUV (probably a Highlander) as a DD and leaving the S2000 as a fun car.

But in the mean time, it works out okay to haul crap in.

I actually hauled all 4 rims down to the tire shop in the S to get summer rubber put on because none of my friends with bigger rigs were available at the time. One in the trunk, the other three stacked on a pillow in the pass seat. It was really hard to shift, but I got applauded at the tire shop when I showed up. Lol

I've been surprised by the amount of stuff one can get into the car.

I've done food, luggage, tires, tools etc. Even a bike.
